Ok, all the care plans/maps are done, all the busy work is finished, last exam was this past Friday (and my instructor is in London so I won't have a grade on that until after Thanksgiving, EGAD)...only thing left to do is the final on Dec. 20th and maybe a quiz or two between now and then...

Sent in an application/resume to one hospital, going to send one in to two more in the area...still don't have a job lined up for after graduation, which I understand is abnormal? I feel like I'm the loser on that account. Seems like everyone has a job but me. lol

Trying to get all my paperwork done for the BON, still need to get fingerprinted and a background check done. 75 dollar fee here, 200 dollar fee there, I will be SO glad when the money is coming IN and not going OUT.

Start Kaplan review on the 21st (the day after the final). That will go on until the end of January, when I will (hopefully) sit for the NCLEX-RN.

Things are really steamrolling here, and I feel caught up in a whirlwind. Excited to be "almost done" and scared to death that the "real world" is staring me in the face and not knowing but praying that I will be ready for it.

How is everyone else doing? December grads, talk to me here! I need to reach out and touch someone else going through this.
