personal stuff you want to share:i am just a really boring person...i want to eventually get my msn in midwifery--should have that done by the time i am 41! yikes!

married/single/kids/pets:m/2 kids/1 doggie who is really deaf and likes cheese

school (if you want to share): penn valley cc

program you are in: adn

the day you grad:sometime around december 20th, 2007

what you are taking this fall: med/surg 1, ob, psyche

what area of nursing do you think you want to be in: ob!!!!!!!

what scares you the most about nursing: time management--how will i be able to handle a full patient load safely and effectively w/out killing anyone????

what are you best at so far in nursing school (give yourself props):i am really good with people--i just like people in general, and it's easy for me to be compassionate (but sometimes this bites me in the butt when i get too involved and take emotional stuff home w/ me)

who's going to your grad:well, so far my mom and my brothers have said they want to come, all my in-laws, too--we get tickets tho so i will have to be very selective.

will you walk, go to pinning or both: definitely pinning but our school only walks once a year in may so i don't know about that. i may save it for my bsn.

what does your school uniform look like (just for fun): black scrub pants, bright red scrub shirts, white shoes (our school colors), white lab coat and sometimes we wear dress clothes w/ lab coat (psyche) or another facilities scrubs (ob)

What scares you the most about nursing:Making a mistake that harms someone.

What are you BEST at so far in nursing school (give yourself props):I give good bed baths.

Who's going to your grad:My mom, dad, sister, cousins, kids.

Will you walk, go to pinning or both: I'm not sure.

What does your school uniform look like (just for fun): Blue scrubs, white lab coat ( it's kinda cute.)

what area of nursing do you think you want to be in: ob, or, onco - not sure yet.

what scares you the most about nursing: full pt load and time management.

what are you best at so far in nursing school (give yourself props): doing skills on real pt and on plastic dummies. :)

who's going to your grad: husband, parents, friends.

will you walk, go to pinning or both: i have no clue.

what does your school uniform look like (just for fun): black scrub pants, blue srcub top with school logo, white lab coat and black shoes.

the day you grad: i am finished in dec. 07 but we dont have our cermony until jan. 08

what you are taking this fall: professional nursing ii includes ob/peds/community health, spirtual ethnocultural nursing, theology 101 and ethical legal issues in healthcare. 16 credit hours.:uhoh3:

what area of nursing do you think you want to be in: icu

what scares you the most about nursing: the unknown

what are you best at so far in nursing school (give yourself props): my skills and patient care.

who's going to your grad: fiancee, son, parents, future in-laws and siblings. i should start working on getting extra tickets now!!!

will you walk, go to pinning or both: both

what does your school uniform look like (just for fun): navy blue scrub pants, white scrub top, and white lab coat with school patch on arm sleeve. all white shoes of course.

not sure of grad date in dec '07

this fall i am taking adult health i, child health promotion, nursing informatics, clinical integration, and lifespan pharmacology.

i just finished my psych and mental health rotation, i took it over the summer.

i would like to be in some area of pediatrics.

i haven't found anything i am great at yet. maybe i am a good test taker?!

what scares me the most is the lack of skills practice we get as students.

i want everyone to come to my graduation, but i will be happy with my daughter, husbands, parents, grandparents, and aunt and uncle. (that is a lot!)

i want to walk and go to the pinning ceremony.

our uniform is a white scrub top, white scrub pants, and white shoes. we have our school patch on our left shoulders.

What scares you the most about nursing: hurting someone

What are you BEST at so far in nursing school (give yourself props):

documentation, rapport w/ my patients, organization

Who's going to your grad: parents, kids, fiancee parents, friends

What does your school uniform look like (just for fun):

See through white pants, oxford style shirt, white jacket with 2 front pockets...and this thing doesn't breathe!

the day you grad: i dunno, sometime in dec./07 but grad ceremonies is first...in spring.

what you are taking this fall:nursing classes only, i have done all my other classes.

what area of nursing do you think you want to be in:long term care

what scares you the most about nursing:

nurses eating their young lol.

what are you best at so far in nursing school (give yourself props):exam taking, study habits, work ethic.

who's going to your grad:hubby, kids.
