Coming out of Lurkdom! New to the boards and a question

Nursing Students General Students

Hello everyone! I've been lurking for a while and figured I'd take the plunge and start posting. :)

I'm a 31 yr old, full time student. I'm also a mom to 3 boys (9,6 &2) and married!

I'm finishing up my prereqs this semester (going full time) and hope to get into our nursing program at the University this spring semester.

I'm wondering if anyone that has taken the NET test, had to retake a portion of it? I did fine on the critical thinking and math, but came 2% points away from the line on comprehension. :o I'm really bummed about that.

Anyway, I'm glad I found the boards and hope to get to know you all much better. :)

Hi and welcome to the boards! I am originally from Ohio, but live in Indiana now...

Am working as a LPN now, hope to get my RN someday soon...

Good Luck to you!

Julie

Thank you for the welcome everybody! :)

"geekymomma", the NET test is the Nursing Entrance Test . It test your math, critical thinking and reading comprehension skills. :) It was a semi-easy test, it's just the comprehension that I screwed up! I think I would have felt better had I done bad on the math! :chuckle

Thanks again for being so kind and welcoming me!!

HEY WELCOME AND ALL THE BEST WITH YOUR STUDIES

HI and welcome from another mom over taken by testosterone in my house LOL - 4 boys(5 if you add the big one) 7,5,4,2. Too bad you don't live in PA the boys could have great fun...

We took the Cnet so I assume it is the same. I did well but I paid for the practice test which helped a lot.

Good luck
