Clinical uniform for school

I thought it would be nice to hear what everyones clinical uniform looks like:chuckle

My school wears a bright green snap down top, with white pants and a yucky patch. we have to buy the top and patch from the school.

We also have to wear a huge photo ID badge:nurse:

They see us coming! Thought I would add some humor to school

My uniform is kind of ok, it is composed of medium-blue top with buttons and white pants

seaspray green scrub top and pants, the top is embroidered with the school logo... after our first year we switch to a white scrub top w/ the school logo. white shoes... not sure about all the other details yet, don't start until august. oh, and we have an ugly sea spray green jacket that we switch out to a white lab coat 2nd year

the guys have a different uniform, but i can't remember what it is

We have to wear all white scrubs that we can buy anywhere, but then we have to purchase a patch at the bookstore and sew it on...I don't know how to sew, so that'll be interesting (don't start clinicals until Aug). I wouldn't attend a school that made me wear a cap, or one that had uniforms or a dress code for classes. When my husband was up for a transfer, we got a list of possible cities. I went to the websites of nursing schools in each one, and handed him the list back of cities that had schools I would consider attending.

You don't have to sew it on. Get some "Stitch Witchery" or fusible web and you can just iron it on.

Our uniforms aren't bad- Navy blue scrub top, navy blue scrub bottoms with cargo pockets and white lab coat with school patch. For skills lab we have to dress "business professional" and wear our lab coat.

I feel your pain!!!!

I also have to wear green top and white bottoms With a bog ol' badge saying "student nurse". I was hoping we would be inconspicuious.

Oh well.

Thanks 2BCRNA! Would Target or whoever have that? I'll have to go look when I get around to buying scrubs. I can put a button back on a shirt reliably, but that's about the extent of my sewing ability. I'm sure it'd be sloppy and may just fall off. Brownies was a long time ago.

You're welcome! I don't know that Target has it because they don't have a fabric department; but Wal-mart has it as does any fabric store.

They probaby want us to stand out :D

Ours are also all white, but with teal trim...and that big badge too. We can also choose between a dress and top & pants...no way in hell am I wearing a dress :)

Caribbean blue scrubs with school initials embroidered in white, white lab coat with school initials embroidered in caribbean blue. The tops are normal scrub tops, no snaps or anything. All white athletic shoes of our choosing.

And I am ohhh so thankful for it! LOL I'd like to see pics of some of the uglier sounding ones. haha

hunter green scrub tops & bottoms (any style) with the school's name embroidered on the front of the top. it sounds like we got lucky! ;)

Hunter green tops and bottoms (cargo bottoms) for scrubs, white shoes of our choosing. Our scrubs has the school emblem on the left breast area. White lab coats with a hunter green school emblem. On skills days we have to wear business attire w/ our lab coats. I cannot complain as our school isn't overly strict on the dress code. Just the normal, no thongs, no tattoos, no dangly jewelry, one ring, no fingernail polish and hair must be shorn or put up. Our orientation was only two hours on one single day. :)
