Can we start a new forum for "older" student nurses

AND for us 50 and OLDER - how about

it seems there has been tons of interest concerning us "older" students. :chuckle you know, 35 and older who started the whole process late. everytime someone asks if "anyone else is out there? " the thread is flooded. it would be great to have our own forum like the "male nurse forum". if not a forum, how 'bout a sticky??? thanks for considering us older, wiser, (hah) and second career-ers!

Years ago, i had put the age older, and a bunch of youngers, but second career-ers wanted in too. So........... i just guessed at an age. No offense intended! :rotfl:

i think 35 is quite high....i mean i am 30, and feel much more mature and 'life experienced' that the 19-20 year olds here. I love chatting with them too, but i think talking to a more mature age group would be cool. I am in my 4th year and grad in May 06. Anyhoot, good luck with school and hope to see you around!

Hmmmm I'm older, but wiser???? I certainly hope so. This is my second and final career. Why didn't I do this 16 years ago? LOL! I forgot to go back and read your thread, was this just for men? I wasn't sure whether you said older and wiser, or older and men. Anyway, good thought lol!

I definitely agree, on chat and in real life. I get along with any age, but I also know back when I was 19-20 I wasn't taking school seriously.
