Besides BSN what degrees couple nicely with an ADN?

Anyone have any thoughts?

I have a year or so before I can start my ADN program so I want to complete my BA in the meantime.

I'm looking for a good major that will compliment my ADN.

I'd love your thoughts.

Specializes in ICU, CM, Geriatrics, Management.

Lots of good choices to combine with the ADN:

Business, law, information science, biology, psychology, social work, engineering, chemistry, etc. Really, options are tremendous. Many different ways to link up other disciplinary studies.

Big factor to consider: where do you expect to land when you're a nurse.

Hmm......where would I want to go?

I couldn't even begin to think cause the possibilities are almost endless!

Best of everything finding something you will enjoy! :)

Well I am planning to go to DePaul and work throuhg their School of New learning.

They let you work with a professor to develop an area of focus for your degree. It really can be whatever.

So I'm deciding what I should make my area of focus in right now.

Agent -- Interesting concept. Never heard of it. Is the degree readily accepted at more traditional universities?

Curious of what you'll be selecting. Do let us know.

Good luck!

I have been assured the degree reads Bachelor's of the Arts DePaul University

It should be. It seems very legitimate

good luck to you agent!!!!:balloons:

Agent,

I also have a BA in Business with specializations in both Accounting and Health Services Management. If you're interested in going into Nursing Administration someday, like I am, your business degree will be an asset. Good luck in whatever you decide to do!!

Heath Services management is something I am interested in
