As a nurse of 30 years I am disheartened by this thread. You are all thrilled that you are making As and Bs but I haven't read one word about your patient care or your clinical skills. Book smarts do not always translate to being a good nurse.
This is why I don't share my marks. I was actually told in class one day that just because I have the highest marks does not mean I will make a good nurse. I replied, "Just because I have good marks does not mean I will NOT make a great nurse." For the record I'm a CCA (CNA in the US kind of) and I am a great CCA.

I hear that all of the time, and it really makes me feel like I should be ashamed to have good grades. It's like people think that if you have good grades then you will not have the critical thinking that it takes to be a nurse. A lot of people don't think that you can get good grades AND be a good nurse; in their eyes you have to have one or other. It irritates me.

This post wasn't meant to be offensive or anything
There is just so many posts about people failing or doing poorly
Thought some people posting about how they are doing well would be nice for once instead of all the hundreds of people saying they are doing bad!

I just want to know the "doing well" secrets. Good job for being successful though too.
