Advice on Southern California AA schools/programs?

  1. Hello everyone,

I'm finishing my pre-reqs this summer, and will hopefully start a program this fall or next spring. But with the massive waiting lists at some of the Los Angeles area schools, I don't know what to expect.

I've been looking at a lot of the AA programs in the area, and they all look pretty good. So I was wondering if any board members that attended programs in the LA area tell me about their experience there? Are there any schools/programs that I should avoid? Any ones you thought were exceptional?

    Thanks so much!

I'm partial to Mount St. Mary's AA program. But, we get students from Pierce and they get a good education. Pierce also has a work study program that is a great experience. Moorpark and College of the Canyons both turn out good nurses.
All of the LA Community colleges with nursing programs do a good job.

What do you think of LA County College of Nursing and Allied Health?

    Thanks for your input!
