A mini poll:

Do you go to school full or part time?

Do you work full or part time?

I was wondering because I work full time (36) and go to school part time. Once I get into the nursing program, I'm going to stop working and take out a loan so I can go to school full time. Just wondering what your doing...:p

Have been working full time and going to school full time throughour pre-reqs. Will start the ADN full time this fall and work part time

Full-time student, do not currently work. I have worked part-time in the past while attending school full-time (my prereqs).

Rumor has it that after our first semester some of the hospitals will hire us as nurse apprentices/interns. Rumor ALSO has it that they will not let them work more than 16 hours in a week. So, I am hoping to be able to do that next spring.

I work 42 hours a week (traditional 8 to 5 type job) and go to school full-time (13 hours this fall). Once/if I get into the nursing program for fall of 2004, I will quit this job and just in school FT or possibly work PT. :)

I'm a full time student and I don't work...wait a minute--I have 5 children...so I do work, just not outside of the home! ;)

5 kids and that avatar pic :D

I go full-time and work full-time until the middle of the semester. then I only work 32 hrs. a week. Somewhere in there I manage to eat and sleep to. lol:)

I worked full-time and took 7 credits/semester for my pre-reqs. Once school starts I'll be going full-time and not working. I'm taking 18 credits the 1st semester, so I think I'll be pretty busy.

I work 40 hrs/wk & go to school part-time. Usually anywhere from 7-10 credit hours per quarter.

I work part-time and go to school full-time. Had wanted to quit working entirely, but unfortunately my financial situation doesn't support that decision.

I'm going to school full time and will work some, but if my grades start to suffer the work will go.

I go to school full time and don't work, no kids.

Boyfriend helps me out.

Dang school full time work 16 hours on weekends, overnights at an LTC. I am so glad you guys posted I was starting to feel whiney about having to work at all. When I see all of you who work full time and go to school full/part time, plus all the homework to keep on top and really learn not just pass, I feel all motivated again and no more whining! (from me!)
