I am in my final weeks of the program. I am so excited. Has anyone graduated yet? If you have are you signed up for the boards? If your going to graduate soon please share your great news here. I have my final exam in nursing and my final in pharmacology on the same day, however that is fine with me as they will both be over with at the same time. It seems so strange to be almost finished. I have learned so much but realize I have so much more to learn. :)

My pinning and graduation is in 5 days on May 21st!

My last Final was Monday, and I have passed this last semester with 3A's & 2B's. It is now official, I am a graduate nurse My pinning ceremony is Thursday the 20th, and graduation is on the following Sunday. I am now waiting for the Dean to fill out the paper work, so I can register to take the boards. The NCLEX review is for the first week in June, and hopefully I will take the test shortly afterward. Honestly, it feels absolutely wonderful to finally be done :) I picked up my nursing pin the other day, and broke into tears of joy! It does feel odd, not having to study. I keep thinking that there is something I should be doing. I love being able to say, that I am now a graduate nurse! Congrats to all the new Grads :balloons:

LOL I know exactly how you feel..I feel really odd not having to study for a test on Monday, or waking up at my leisure for once :chuckle

It sucked though that they scheduled our review course the DAY AFTER graduation, so no one got to go out and party like they wanted :o They made it mandatory too, and charged our financial aid and everything else for it without asking, but thats another story entirely.... :uhoh21:

Graduation was yesterday morning with the pinning ceremony immediately following. I've been out with family and friends for a barbeque last night, I went out with other friends for pizza tonight.

I have an NCLEX review class the last week in May. I hope to get my registration/authorization-to-test letter by then so I can schedule as soon afterward as possible.

I'm in negotiation with my facility for a permanent, full-time position but in the meantime, I've updated my resume and sent it out this afternoon to three other organizations of interest for this new RN graduate.

sigh

Oh the responsibility of being out of school and having to get on with my life. :rotfl:

Congratulations to all of us! We are gutzy and crazy and wondering....

I don't have class tomorrow. Now what?

That is totally awful, for them to do that to you. Our review was not mandatory, if you did not want to take it, you did not have to. And we were able to pick the week that we wanted. Well anyway, good luck to you on the boards :coollook:

graduate in august! cannot wait!!! i know its 3 months away..but its so close i can taste it!!!!!! congrats to those presently graduating and whom have graduated!!! good luck on state boards!!!! let us know how they go!!! (i am nervous about them already lol)

I also finish this year... In September (not sure when there has been a mix up with the NMC) but I can not believe how close your finishing dates and pinning ceremonies are!!

When I finish SOMETIME in September the presentation will not be till December at the earliest!

Huge congratulations to those of you who have made it, and good luck for the rest of us that have further to go.
