Writing opportunities for a nurse?

I am currently in nursing school. I love healthcare and have been fascinated by the human body my entire life. I am also very creative and love art and writing. I am the kind of person that gets excited to write a paper for school. My question is, what writing opportunities are their for a nurse (besides nurses notes, etc.)?

Once you've gotten some experience, you can always look into writing articles for your specialty's journal. There are also other magazines for nurses that may accept articles.

You can join a council at work that is responsible for maintaining and updating policies.

You can contribute to a textbook.

There's all sorts of options- if you do a search for "medical writer" other ideas will pop up.
