"Missed abortion" the technical term for a miscarriage.

"compliant" somehow bugs me....how about "collaborative"

But on a related bent: "client" for "patient" grrrr hate it. or worse for me : "customer"

I like to use "voiding", not "micturition" myself..... have not heard that one since nursing school actually....

I loathe the word "obese". Even if I didn't know the English language, I'd want to stay away from this one instinctively (especially since it's written all over my medical record........). Frankly, I'd rather just be called 'fat'!

Got curious with this post but I couldn't think of any med term that I hate at this time. But I have a fave med term -- malaise. Sounds French and easy to the ears, eh? Heheh. :lol2:
