What math courses did you take in college

  1. I want to be a neonatal nurse but I really suck at math(mostly geometry) but I'm still a student, so ANY nurse can come and tell me what type of math classes did they take in school?

I took college algebra. Most nursing schools require that one take the minimum math requirement for the degree they are seeking. In our local community colleges, it is beginning and intermediate algebra, and nowadays, one more course in math. If you attend a community college, most of them have what I call "beginner" math classes, that is, remedial math for those who do not test out at a higher level when they take their diagnostic exam when starting college. Check with the school you plan to attend to see what is available.

    Calculus and stats.

From a nursing perspective, all you really need is algebra.

But, if you to grad school/change majors in STEM, you will likely need more. Don't be afraid of numbers. Don't limit yourself early in life because you really don't know where you'll end up at this point.
