screwed over with the holiday schedule. I never do more than 4x 0:00-8:00 shifts in a row and they've scheduled me 7 in a row from Dec 28 to Jan 2!!!

No bonuses or anything

$100 cash!

Specializes in Peds Homecare.

$10 gift card to a local grocery store. I think it's pretty cheap. We used to have a catered lunch at the office, this year, just desert.

Specializes in ICU.

Absolutely nothing. We did have an employee lunch, but it was a "bring your own dish" affair.

$30 to Walmart. Same as last year.

A duffle bag with the hospital logo on it.

Specializes in Gerontology.

Those that work Xmas or New Years get a plate of short bread cookies from the kitchen. That we have to pick up.

$5 cafeteria gift card.

Specializes in Med/Surg, Rehab.

Nothing. Some of the other managers gave gifts to their staff but ours didn't. I think it came out of their pocket though so I'm not upset about it. Do wish the company had done something other than candy...

Specializes in OR, Nursing Professional Development.

Two years ago: $30 gas card, decent free dinner

Last year: $20 gas card, decent free dinner

This year: $15 gas card, the free dinner was poorer quality with less selection

They also used to give us a bunch of things with the hospital logo. That went away a couple years ago (and I'm not complaining- how many hospital logo-ized things does one person need, plus we had to pay tax on the value).

$200 from one MD and earrings/socks/candy and card from our other doc at the office :)

Last year-$25 gift card

This year -$50 gift card.

i wish they'd give a raise though! i'm grateful i have a job regardless.
