My mom is having a surgery at the end of this month called robotic rectoplexy. Her doctor said he will probably stay 5 days in the hospital after the surgery. She didn't tell me all the details. I was wondering if anyone can help me. I read online that she might have a foley for a few days. Is there anything I can do for my mom? My mom won't have a shower for 5 days, is there something I can do for her? like what kind of wipes can i buy her to help her clean up and feel refreshed without worrying about any bacteria or infection? i read she might be on a clear liquid diet. i'm sure the hospital will provide her, but is there something i can make at home that can be considered clear liquid?
