Hi!

I was just accepted to - Leadership & Management track with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2018. Looking for any feedback you can give on the program.

  • How accessible are staff?
  • Are the expectations/course work clear?
  • How hard are the assessments?
  • I'd love to take 5 courses, at least, each term. Is this possible?
  • Have you had luck receiving scholarships?
  • Anything else you would like to share is much appreciated!

I graduated last july and was thrilled with the program layout. I loved working at my own pace and was able to complete the program within a year. Lots of help available on FB when u get stuck. I did apply for and receive their scholarship/hardship $ fairly easy to apply. Wasn't much but every little thing help.

Congratulations on completing the program! Where did you find help on FB? Were assessments difficult? You finished quick!! Did you already know a lot of the information?

I did a search for found 2 groups and joined both. Mostly utilzed the group that had the most members. They were so helpful! Yes it was difficult I set my goal at 1 yr. Divided up my classes to see how many every month and pushed on... assessments are alot of writing, revisions are expected so I submitted started the next one while waiting for the submitted one (when I had energy to do that lol)

I received my MSN in Leadership from in 2015. Having that degree has been invaluable for advancing my career. My only complaint is that I wish they had offered a class on "being a manager" - stuff like human resources, budgeting and finance, how to coach staff, etc. Pretty much everything I've learned about being a good manager, I've learned on the job.

MeanMaryJean - if you're reading this - do you still work with them? Who could I talk to about adding this to their curriculum?

I do still work for them- and I will get that suggestion to the right person. And I agree- that is a needed component of (really) ANY MSN
