Hello everyone, this is my first post; I am hoping to get some answers from all of you out there that have graduated from the WCU Nursing program or are currently enrolled. First off I have already gone through the application Process and my credits were all transferred in. I already had all of the credits (45 total) they asked for including the Philosophy and Patho-physiology, but they say that it is mandatory to take those classes on Campus (they will not transfer those in). My main question is has anyone transferred in this many credits? if so, how long was the program for you and what was the total cost? I have tried to ask this question to financial aid, but they have not given me a definitive answer yet. They keep giving my an estimate. I do not feel comfortable signing a loan of such a large amount on an "estimate". If anyone has any answers I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much. :)

In my opinion, expensive for-profit schools usually aren't worth it. Around here, they don't have a good reputation.

Expensive for-profit schools such as West Coast University that charge $132,000 in tuition for the generic BSN program are especially not worth it.

Do NOT sign anything! You would be WAAAAYYYYYY better off to be waitlisted at a less expensive school than to be saddled with approximately $1500/ month student loan debt every single month for the next 10-12 years.

PLEASE reconsider.

I was going to enroll with WCU with all of the requirements finished. I moved from Arkansas to Dallas. They told me I would have to retake 3 classes that only they offer. It was going to cost estimated 33,000 for a BSN!?!?!? I refused to sign. I had 108 college hours, I will not retake classes that I already did or pay that amount for a BSN degree. Maybe if I applied at Harvard but not WCU. Find another school.

Thank you for your Nibbles1 response. It is very very expensive. If you don't mind me asking how long ago was it that you almost signed up? I have all the courses they require as well and they want me to pay about 87 grand.

Did you ever get the answer for this ? How long was the program ?
