I am currently employed in a doctors office of internal/gastroenterology medicine. I do phlebotomy, EKGs, drug screening, physicals, spirometry, etc. I recently got a job in a hospital as a night shift staff nurse, I am looking for some helpful tips that anyone can provide...THANKS!

I managed that transition. The biggest problem I had was getting used to NO MD being around to answer my questions. Another difference is that you will be with the patient for several hours, versus in-and-out in MD office. You will get used to it though. Good luck!

Yeah, I work very closely with both doctors in the office, so I can imagine it would be a tough transition to not have them on call when I need them. Thank you for your response :-)
