:up:Hi everyone:

I am on my first assignment in Amarillo, Texas. I just happened to read their weekly/monthly? newsletter from the Texas BON. Starting in 2009, they are no longer going to give the nurses a paper RN license when renewal comes up. They are finding many 'people' who are stealing other nurses' license and using them illegally. I wonder if all of the other BON's are going to have this great idea. If a license is needed to be verified, all the person has to do is check withthe state's BON.

What do you think?

Many states do already, and the compact states should all be going to a paperless system in the near future.
