They forgot "ability to hold bladder contents for 17 hours"

Sounds like they're trying to cover all OSHA areas. If you get hurt, too bad, you knew ahead of time...it was in the job description.

    That's hillarious.

Did they also describe to a tee the mental fortitude and intelligence required to to the job?

What about X-Ray vision (to cut down on the facility's bottom line - they can charge for XR without having to do them) and the ability to leap onto a stretcher to perform CPR in a single bound? Don't forget super-speed to respond to all of those monitor alarms at once! Okay, I've been watching a bit too much Smallville. :chuckle

Only other nurses can imagine what we actually do in a shift. The general public thinks we sit at the desk and do out nails. Thank God for my 2 sisters-in law-they are nurses and we definately understand each other.
What happened to go without food for 10 hrs, no water, nothing. Feet swollen out of shoes that are covered with who knows what, wearing unform that may have unknown whatever on it. And make sure you smile. :chuckle

    spot-on

And actually, with the exception of "anesthesia machine", the posted Job-description sounds really easy considering the situations I have worked in as a nurse.

One requirement challenging compliance: "Must be able to lift 70-lbs solo". At 111 (& wanting to maintain this for my Sport passion), hefting 85-lb paraplegics around is a piece-of-cake, not Fortunately, 'nuff other staff are pressing for Transferring-machinery, increasingly.

Left out the ability to stretch your height to 8-10 feet so you can do proper CPR (straight up and down now) on a patient on a cart locked in the high position with no step stool near by :chuckle :roll :spin: :roll
