It helps me forget about work and teaches me a lot of valuable lessons about winning, losing, risk, trying, succeeding, failing, etc.
While at work, I tend to approach stress relief intellectually. I try to understand the sources of the problems, why people are acting the way they are, etc. Understanding why troublesome situations are the way they are -- and trying to see things from other people's points of view -- helps me to avoid being angry at my coworkers. Of course, sometimes that fails and then I find a friend and rant and rage to vent.

You gotta get away, take a mini vacation, go camping or just hiking in the great outdoors. Something to take your mind off the daily grind, you'll come back with a new outlook.

Dec 31, '06Joined: Nov '05; Posts: 1,883; Likes: 95The best way to deal with stress is time management. You should also try to organize yourself and plan ahead. Food is never a good way to deal with stress because you will create another problem that will cause more stress to your heart.
