The thread about the late license renewal got me thinking about the requirements for renewal of your RN or LPN license. Indiana does not require that nurses have CEU's to renew their licenses....Is there any other states out there, or is Indiana pretty much alone on this like it is with Daylight Saving Time?

Neither does Oklahoma.
you can find a list of which states do in Nursing 2003 magazine frequently (the career edition) and also by checking State BON's.

Oh, I was just curious. I have no intentions of moving (even though this time of year in Indiana I would give it serious consideration!) I read on here about posters and needing this CEU and that CEU to maintain their licenses....wondering how many states didn't require....
