Should I be applying even though I don't know if I passed the NCLEX?

Should I be applying for jobs, and getting my resume out there, even though I am not sure I passed the NCLEX?

What would you say on a resume where you would put your license number?

I put the place I graduated from and the year, then put NCLEX scheduled:__________.

That way, the prospective employer knows you have set a date and they can kindof make a time frame. Just make sure to follow up and submit a new resume right away when you get that number!

Some employers won't even look at an application until you have a license number. However if the jobs you are applying to will hire you as a nurse tech or nurse extern until you your number then let them know that your license number is pending.

I would definitely, not sure how the market is where you live, but in SC we are in a new grad hiring freeze. Definitely put your test date on your resume. Good Luck!!

Definitely apply now! We all had jobs lined up before even graduating from school. I'm surprised your school didn't suggest applying earlier. Good luck!
