    Okay, I'll start.

    *blushes*

I've accomplished the feat of messing up the most comics here on AN.com.

Or maybe I've drawn the most messed up comics.

Maybe I'm the most messed up member?

    Either way:

Anyway: Thank you. No. Please. Thank you!

I've been here for a little over 10 years. Looking back at my "history" I seem to come back for a bit every 2 years. I peek a bit other times. Biggest AN accomplishment, I won September's Caption Contest. Now i can't say I never won anything.

And I love creating them, CelticGoddess. I appreciate the kind words.

The longest of anything does not matter.
My greatest accomplishment was making it to 35 years without killing anybody, that I know of.
The highlight of my career was attending a hospice patient, the family thanked me for my kind and calming presence.

I've been at AN for 16 years. I was a moderator for six and have been a Guide for seven. I have 21 years in nursing, 25 total in health care including being a CNA and going to nursing school. I think my biggest career accomplishment was being the DNS in a large assisted-living community. It was a great job until it wasn't. But it's the one where I made the most difference for the most people, and I look back on that time fondly.

I have never had a death in the almost 4 years since being a nurse. I catch minor things before they become major, and I get the patient the help and increase the level of care when necessary. I recognize that a lot of that is just crazy luck. I work in PCU.

I expect this will change though, as I'm moving to the ICU soon.

Okay...first of all am I the brownnoser? I can't help it I admit I live for my likes on Allnurses, so I live to give out likes,..so sue me!

I've been here since 2006...it's embarrassing. I really do need to get a life.

    Nurse for 34 years.

Co-workers admire me because I keep calm in a storm.....I say: "When everybody around you is panicking and you are calm you probably don't know what's going on."

I've been a nurse for 39 years. I've been in healthcare - beginning as a nurse's aide and then as a student nurse - for 44 years. My biggest achievement is probably my ability to work with so many families of home care clients.

With my first case, I didn't understand that I needed to include the whole family. I pretty much ignored the 3 year old brother, but he set me straight on my last day there. He picked up a toy telephone and had a serious "conversation" with the doctor.

    "Hello, Dr. Smith?"

    "Yes, this is Billy."

"What's that? Yes, that's right. We don't need that old nurse here anymore!"

You live for your likes...be careful what you say, people will be haunting and hunting you down to "like" you LOL
I tend to stay calm too, it doesn't mean you don't know what is going on.

For me: been posting here for a couple years but read a lot prior to that, always appreciate the good info and laughs (although some I think were unintended)
Biggest accomplishment was being able to care for cancer and hospice patients at there most difficult times. Rewarding and heartbreaking at the same time.
