RN school harder than RT school?

Hello everyone!

Those of you who have both degrees as an RN and an RRT could you please tell me which one was the most difficult for you to obtain. I am currently an RT student and I am very interested in nursing as well.

I have been contemplating school for RRT! I am a diploma grad, so other than the clinicals and some RRT specific classes, I can't help but think it would only take me a year or so to complete the curiculum. What did you think of the RRT program?

I think the program is very technical and complex. There are several different types of measurements, calculations and formulas to learn. I am sure it would be much easier for someone with a nursing degree. Math is my worst subject and there seems to be a lot of it in the program. I am more nervous about the pharmacology of nursing than anything, even though we had it in the RT program, I just fear that nursing will be much harder.

Good luck !!!
