Question about hiring in your area

Hello all! This is my first post.

I am a new graduate RN (working towards BSN in an online program) and am having a terrible time with the job hunt. I am willing to relocate to almost anywhere, so I thought I'd ask:

Does anyone know where they are hiring new grad RNs into acute care settings? I'd like to work in telemetry or med/surg to build a skill and knowledge base for a CCRN down the road.

Essentially, the places where few people would want to live are the locations where new grad acute care hospital job openings are plentiful. Cities and towns such as Lawton, OK, Topeka, KS, Grand Forks, ND, Alpine, TX, Lincoln, NE, and Laramie, WY are some of the most promising spots for new grads.

To be taken seriously, you need nursing licensure in the state where you plan to move. Job applications without the state license number in hand might be dismissed.

The Milwaukee wisconsin area is still decently hiring. My ADN graduating class of about 50 all had jobs within a couple months and most into hospitals.

Acute care employment in the non-urban areas of Virginia is reasonably easy to obtain.

I'm not a new grad, but I sat in my new hospital nursing orientation a couple weeks ago. Three of us 6 new hires were new grads. One was going to psych, one to an oncology floor, and the third to the ER, tho she was a previous LPN. In my computer class there were about 4 new grads out of 12 new hires. I don't remember where they were going to work. My co-worker's daughter got hired elsewhere in the area into NICU. I took my location off of my profile, but you can pm me if you want.
