Pinning Ceremony

Just wanted to add a note in regards to student nurses pinning ceremony's. I am a Senior and graduating in May 2004. MacMurray College's Nursing Department continues to have the traditional white uniform, and cap for the ceremony. The nursing professors pin the student's, and along with this tradition..the students give out flowers to those individuals that have made an impact in their time in nursing school. After reading some of the messages that students were disappointed in their pinning ceremony..I realized how fortunate our class of 2004 is to still have the tradition that MacMurray's Nursing School continues with the white uniforms and cap. I e-mailed my nursing director of the school and thanked her for allowing this long time tradition to continue at MacMurray.
