Options after RN

Nurses General Nursing

So I have my BSN and have been wanting to go back to school. I work in the ER right now and love it. I was planning to go for my NP but then decided I didn't want to do that anymore. I also have no desire to be a manager, CNL, or do research. Was just wondering what other options there are??

I guess I have to ask, if you have no desire to be an NP, go into management, or become a nurse researcher, why do you want to go back to school?

Education or informatics that's about it. Sometimes you can break into both with a bachelors as long as your not teaching at the university level.

I had the concept beat into me in undergrad that we should all continue on to graduate school.

Is that where this is coming from, or is it that "everyone" is doing it and you feel like you should, also.

There is nothing wrong with being an ER nurse for your entire career.
