Nursing Loan Repayment: Problems At HRSA Site

I have been attemting to log into the NLRP program on HRSA website since April 1, 2008. Deadline for the NLRP application is April 30,2008. There seems to be a glitch in their software IF you applied last year. According to Rory Holloway at the HRSA call Center, over 500 people are experiencing the same issues that I am. That is: If the HRSA website recognizes your log in name or SS number, you cannot log in and most importantly you cannot fill out the application.

Are any others out there experiencing this problem? And what have you been told by HRSA? Thus far, since April 2nd- I have been told 'it is being worked on' and adminstrators are aware of the issue. I have spoken to the call center at least 5 times and have had my 'password' reset, but the problem remains. HRSA has not acknowledged a problem with the website and are not informing applicants or the general public that there is a flaw in the system for previous applicants. There has been no extension in submission time for documents. Suffice to say it is difficult to get through the bureaucratic wall, and I am unable to find the phone number of the consulting firm in DC where we send our applications. It's all very frustrating. The HRSA website does not offer up any names or contacts either. Any suggestions from my brethren?

Many Thanks

Earl
