Here I am!!! Some of us have to work you know!!! Well, I have managed to gather all the "direct" e-mail addresses that are available from the senators. The other senators have a web form that you have to fill out. I am going to post them here, so you won't even have to go to the trouble of looking them up. However, it is up to you to write them. I would suggest an e-mail a day, at the very minimum once a week. If you see anything that should be brought to their attention-E-MAIL IT!!! I have made a special list in my yahoo address book and I have all of them listed there. That way I can send the same message to all of them with one click.

Hi stiritup. I think that if you read the entirety of this bb, you would see that in between the moans, groans, and gripes, that there are substantive debates and discussions.

As has been pointed out before, many posters come to this bb for carthartic sessions. I don't always agree with the approach, but there instances in which viable solutions are offered and even accepted.

To your credit, you have posted, albeit crudely, a suggestion for all of us to essentially get a life and find more positive ways to promote nursing and our nursing practice. I agree with that. I don't know how long you've been in nursing, but the vast majority of nurses I've worked with over the many years have never placed priority on being politically proactive for their profession. Much of this, I believe, is due to the fact that we have solely been trying to please others and not taking care of ourselves. Most of the energy is wasted on debating educational backgrounds and titles which I think should be discussed, but I don't see a resolution coming anytime soon.
