Hi - Welcome to allnurses....

Is NET a nursing entrance test? Just curious, I'm not familiar with those initials....

You had a good math score. Congrats.

I did better on the reading then on the math. Here's the thing, I am a good reader. I can read fairly quickly and I understand what I'm reading. (Usually). But, had I not bought a study guide for the NET, I wouldn't have done near as well. While I am a good reader, the questions on the NET test are not as obvious. So my advice is to buy a NET study guide. It will give you practice questions and it will break down exactly what kind of answers they are looking for. I personally did not find the math part of the study guide to be very useful but the reading part was extremely helpful.

Something that may be said in the study guide is that you need to answer your questions based on what you think the writers of the test are looking for. While that seems difficult and doesn't make much sense, it actually does. The best way to learn what the writers are looking for is the buy the study guide. I got a study guide at my college bookstore for $13.00.

yes, they count all of the questions whether you answered them or not. If you didn't get a chance to answer, they count it as wrong. Spring is right, buy the NET study guide. It really helps.
