Nurses General Nursing

Hey guys so I'm going to be a senior in high school and my school offers an lpn program and cna program and I failed the lpn test by a couple points for math section so I automatically got put into the cna program. The program Is 6/9 periods everyday and I am not sure if it's worth it to do because everyone keeps saying that there's no point! I want to become a RN when I'm older and am planning on going to Hunter college. Do you think I should do this and will it help me? I don't want to waste my time and would this look good on college application to get into Hunter? Me doing this program means me giving up orchestra which I have done for 8 years and love but wouldn't have enough periods to continue it so please help!

The CNA course would not be a waste in my opinion. Do you have to pay for the class. If you become s CNA you can work as a CNA while going to school for your RN. Valuable learning and on job experience in my opinion.

Though you are in high school only once and if you love Orchestra I can see wanting to do it. It all depends how you want to start with you career as nurse. If you want to work as a CNA or not. If you don't want to actually work as a CNA then just wait for college

Honestly... You can do a CNA course after high school, it's only a few weeks.... If you really love orchestra, I wouldn't give in up my senior year.
