Mt. Sinai vs. NYU ABSN

Does anybody know what tuition is like for NYU's accelerated second degree bachelors nursing program, and what possible scholarships they offer? I haven't been able to find anything concrete on their website. On Mt. Sinai's website, it says that tuition for their ABSN program is about $51,000 total, and I'm wondering how NYU's tuition ends up comparing to that. (I live in NYC, so paying for rooming isn't a factor for me. I'm just looking into the base tuition for the actual programs).

If anybody has any info for me, I'd really appreciate it!

I went to NYU's ABSN program for one semester before dropping out to attend a SUNY school a few years ago. Tuition ran me about $26,000 for the semester with fees. So you're looking at about $104k for the program. They don't offer many scholarships at all. When I approached them and told them that I was having difficulty coming up with the money for my next semesters tuition they basically told me oh well. They pushed me to apply for HRSA scholarships, but offered nothing from within NYU.

I did my entire ABSN at a SUNY school for less than I paid for my one semester at NYU. You live and you learn.

Woah. That is quite expensive. I can't go to SUNY's unless I want to wait another year, because I won't finish my last semester of my bachelors before the start date for SUNY's program - and if I did push it off, I wouldn't be guaranteed entry to their program the following year. So I'm stuck applying to inordinately expensive ABSN programs.

Thanks for the info!
