Licensure Question

I am currently in PN school in Mississippi. After graduation I plan to move out of state, probably to Georgia. I am a little confused about the licensure process though. Will I still be eligible to take the NCLEX and become licensed in Georgia even though I went to school in MS? Or...will I have to take additional classes? Would it be easier to just get licensed in MS first, and then change my residency to GA? Please help:confused:

I believe you just need to apply to take the NCLEX in whatever state you plan to work in. Your professors should be able to help you with that when the time comes.

Thanks. That's what my professors said too, but then I was reading stuff on the Georgia Board of Nursing website, and I got confused:idea:
