Laundry Cart Revisited

Nurses General Nursing

Published

Months ago, I remember a thread that taked about a co-worker leaving a laundry cart in the path of another co-worker, and it had to do with a shift change. :) Remember:roll

I just wanted to say that I think it is wrong to leave a laundry cart out in the open. You shouldn't joke about objects in motion. Once the laundry cart is in motion, it should remain in motion until it arrives where it belongs.

At the time I said it would be no problem to just move it if it was left out intentionally, but I see now how it is sick and wrong to not make an issue of that.

In the words of Kate Winslet at the end of Titanic...

"I'll never let go..."

With certain personalities, the laundry cart scenario could turn into a battlefield, a battlefield F. Nightingale couldn't treat injuries at. People, and white people in particular, feel it is a game to avoid work, or to appear in control of everything, in order to achieve social statis amongst other (white) people. Sometimes we all become complacient and try to shruff-off work onto others. The laundry cart is physical work left to remind another of some message.

What would this nurse have done if you tried to push work onto her?nurse.gif

She probably would have sicc'd a mole on them...:D

What in the H*** am I doing up at 2 in the fricking morning logged onto my computer because I HAD to check on this fricking thread??? I am possessed by Mario and Micro! Nurseheather, save me!!!!!

There is no saving once you've been sucked into Mario's realm. His force is strong, and you must resist his powers of the dark side. If you try to resist, his army of little soldier moles will defeat you in battle, and carry your worn nurse's body to his throne...

Off to work without enough sleep...

So, I still don't know how the laundry cart got there. Did the moles put it there?

Specializes in Clinical Risk Management.

Only by digging deep, deep into the earth, toward the center of the earth where bodies of hot water flow in the direction of least resistance. The moles dug many molehills. They dug so deeply that they tapped into one of the many reservoirs of hot, pressurized water below the earth. Many lost their lives in this endeavor to create bigger and better molehills. The water erupted from the geysers that were created. The pressure of the water, combined with the shift of the earth's surface by the molehills caused the laundry cart to move into place. :D

Only the moles that have foleys can move linen cart, but only when they are racing down from the top of the volcano!!!! OMG, Heather just took over my body!!!! I'm out of control!!!!!!!

But, who did the laundry on the cart. Do moles do laundry? Or do they just do other moles?

Doggone those spreading centers and subluxing plates anyhow...

:rotfl:

I'm still laughing at the "moles with foleys" comment! I just can't rid my mind of that visual!

:chuckle :roll :chuckle

Heather

Male moles with foleys may have a hard time "doing" other moles! We may have an answer to the "mole as a pest" problem! (And save the world from another laundry-moving volcanic eruption!). :chuckle
