Just joined. I've been an LVN for 13 years. Been working on my prerequisite for 2 years. Through the encouragement of my friend, I took the HESI for the first time on March 30, and submitted my nursing application afterwards. With no expectations, I didn't expected to get accepted, but applied anyway. From all the people I know and with other rumors of how competitive TCC was, I really didn't want to apply. Thinking I wasn't going to get accepted, yesterday I put down the $1,500 down payment to start Capscare. Today, while working I had an email pop up from TCC. I thought it was from my instructor. Once I opened it up I saw the congratulations you have been selected for admission. Initially I didn't if t was for the bridge or 2 year program. So, I called and she told me "yes you have been selected." I didn't know how to act other, because I was shocked, excited and nervous at the same time. This is truly a blessing. I am ready for the challenge. By the way my GPA in my 3 sciences was a 3.33 and I scored at 89.5 on the HESI (my first go round), it was much easier than the TEAS. Anyways, I thought I would share my story and say don't give up! What's meant to be will be!

Hi and congrats. I am currently in LVN school and will graduate in August. Do you start this summer? Do you know the schedule yet? I am planning on bridging over asap. I have a 3.0 science GPA and still need to retake my HESI. I did not score high enough on my math portion when I took it last year.
