I cant seem to find a thread or a forum where you can discuss non nursing related..

where you can just talk about... Hey How's your day ? or What did you do last night in the dance club? or whatever topic that floats your boat.

Central carries off-topic discussions, but if it's just a joke or two you can post it under "nursing humour." If it's a good enough joke, no-one will really worry if it's not nursing related....

Oh I enjoyed this light topic. I am going to try Cosmo's new sex position;) ;)

My day was long and tiring. The dance club was good on Saturday night but I seen a lot of girls with nothing on! (kind of scary!). :dancgrp:

up at the top of the page on the right you will find a small-print toolbar. the first link is to an central where there are all kinds of non-nursing forums. cooking, family life, tv, books, pets, politics, etc.

when you switch to central, allnurses will take its place in that same toolbar. just click it to come back here.

AOL used to have a lively message board for nurses, in which everything from favorite recipes to politics was discussed. Sadly, it's slowed almost to a standstill recently, but it's still there.

Has anybody ever tried to see if they can add a chat box for the members to use while online?? That would be enjoyable I think, to actually be able to chat back and forth about topics, either nursing related or personal..
