inserting pics

Hey can anyone tell me how to insert pics into a message, I always see others inserting smiley not found on all nurses, and I would like to be able to do that. Sorry I'm not usually this computer illiterate.

Find the picture or smiley that you want to use. Put your little mouse pointer directly over it and right-click.

Scroll down and click "Properties"

A gray box will pop up. In it will be the picture's internet address (will probably just say "address." Copy this address.

Come here to allnurses and hit "post reply" as usual.

At the top of the reply screen are numerous buttons. One is the IMG button. Press it. Another box will pop up. Paste the address you copied into this box, and hit enter.

Remember that tripod and Geocities will not allow you to do this to pics hosted on their sites. They will just show up as that annoying red x-box.

Thanks Heather. Thats my baby. How did you get your pic on the side. I've tried and all my pictures are too big, even from the website imagestation. Did you shrink it somehow?

Yeah, with my photo editing software. Has to be less that 100 x 100 pixels. If you don't know how to do it or don't have the software, you can email it to me and I'd be happy to fix it up for you :D

Nope Greer. To make the image appear within the text of the message, it has to be a picture that has an internet address, that is, it is online.

Images that you have saved on your computer must be shown as attachments.
