I am a nurse, I would just like to know what is the IELTS passing band score in speaking. Coz I just took the IELTS and my overall band score is 7 and my speaking is 6.

My sister took the IELTS last year. According to her, the passing score is 6.5 with speaking at 7. I am sorry.

You are welcome. I would suggest that you take review courses on TSE and TOEFL because they are more intensive than the IELTS review alone. These would be expensive but it is just a suggestion. My sister took and failed the TSE four times. But when she took the IELTS she passed immediately.

The good thing about IELTS is that it can easily be scheduled than the TSE. Don't give up! I myself passed the TSE on the second only when I attended a review class.

You mean the IELTS? I am familiar with TSE since that is the exam i took. I would suggest that you visit the TSE.org. You can get a lot if information from there. I think the exam fee is around $110. If you are in the states, yes it is also given there, the website will give you what places in the US you can take the exam. About online review. I am sorry because I don't have any idea on that.

I took my TSE in early 2003 and the exam now are different. They change some of the test format. Before there was a map section but now it was replace by a listening section wherein you will hear conversations and then questions will be asked regarding the conversations. If you are not a good listener then it will be difficult indeed.

About the review classes, it usually dwell on the techniques on how to answer the questions in the exams.
