My first question is am too old at age 46 to become a phlebotomist? Do I have to get a CNA first? I'm really ready for a new chapter to start.

You should google phlebotomy programs near you. They are usually quick programs if I'm not mistaken,

No. They are two separate fields in healthcare, so being a CNA is not required to be a phlebotomist and vice versa.
