How do you become an RN

What exactly do you have to do to become an RN? What classes do you have to take? Do you have to have an undergrade degree before you go to Nursing school? I have no idea about any of this and have had no luck looking anywhere else.

I had an undergraduate degree, but I think the vast majority of people do not.

The first thing to do ask yourself do you want an associates or a bachelors. When you figure that out start looking into the different school that offer the degree you are looking and find out from them what classes you should be taking. Although there are a number of classes that all of us take, there are slight variations from program to program so make sure you keep your eye on the prize and focus on the requirements of the program you are interested in.

If you don't know what schools are in your area that are accredited (the accredited thing is important) then you should contact your states board of registered nurses.

Good luck!
