Hospital vs clinic nursing job

I'm considering to change from a hospital nurse to a clinic nurse but concerns regarding loss of skills. If I leave the hospital setting will I be able to return to hospital or be "tagged" as unskilled to deal with critical care/bedside skills.

I'm just tired of arriving to the floor finding unsafe patient/staff ratio and not having anyone give a darn:hdvwl:

I enjoy bedside/floor nursing, my patients and co-workers; however, feel stressed that I will miss something BIG due to staffing issues.

I feel clinic/treatment nursing may be better but worry about boredom.

Do I just wait for a new openning on a new Unit in the hospital?

Do I just suck it up and realize life is not perfect and mine is pretty good.....unless something BIG goes bad due to unsafe working conditions...it's my license on the line buddy.
