Are there any hospitals that lie near the beach in or around the east coast. i figure the way the housing market is looking condos may not be an impossibility as well and may be a viable option.

I know that Miami Beach has a hospital.

Riverview Medical Center, and Jersey Shore University Medical center are a few miles from the ocean, and rents are relatively reasonable. http://www.meridianhealth.com

I work at NY Presbyterian, which is on the Hudson River in NYC.

well i was thinking more along the lines of south carolina but thanks for info guys. also buying isn't really a problem for me cause i can receive the VA loan (no down payment w/ ab 4% interest rate)

martin memorial hospital in stuart, fl is not right on the beach but right on the indian river and its really beautiful, its only about 10-15 minutes from the beach and the rent isn't too bad there. and indian river memorial hospital in vero beach, fl is another good choice..

I live in Myrtle Beach, SC. There is also Waccamaw Community Hospital, the beach is about 3 miles away if that. Conway Hospital is about 15 minutes from the beach and then there is Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach and Georgetown Memorial Hospital in Georgetown then there are some in Charleston. Hope this helps.
