Specializes in med/surg---long term---pvt duty.

In light of the recent disasters....Haiti and now the Chile earthquakes...I have been thinking about the idea of being a volunteer Emergency Response Nurse...reponding to emergencies/disasters around the world. I would like to know if there is anyone out there that is or has done this and what are your thoughts about it. If you have volunteered..who did you work with??
