Back in September, and while completing CE articles, I came across a very important article that included JCAHO guidelines that I found to be crucial information to my institution.
I felt compelled to present this article to the Professional Practice Committee and our need to implement these enhancements in our practice for the sake of our patients and for a positive report from JCAHO.
I learned that the information I provided had been discussed at the Professional Practice Committee and that it be a topic at our next Staff meeting as it would be implemented in our practice.
I prepared a letter similar to info written above.
Is this appropriate and in what words should I ask for credit.
