Has anyone done the CLEP test for A&P? I unfortunately signed the contract with TCN and having a hard hard time with A&P! Any suggestions on books/websites or how the test went would be great! :p

Thanks!!

I don't think that A&P is available as a CLEP exam. Here is a link to which subjects can be tested out using CLEP: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/clep/exams.html

I tested out of Micro,..it isn't on your list,...but you have to know your stuff to test out! I had to enroll in the class,.pay for it and the books, and attend until I passed her final,...saved me time but not money, good luck!

Hi there!

Just to clarify (to avoid confusing others), CLEP offers neither microbiology nor A&P exams. Microbiology and A&P proficiency exams are offered via the Excelsior College Examination (ECE).

As far as sciences are concerned, CLEP offers subject exams in biology and chemistry, as well as a general exam in natural sciences.

Best,

Wendy

I took the A&P exam through Excelsior. I studied the book from TCN. The exam is hard but the book was helpful..I had just completed my LPN school's A&P class so that helped.

i unfortunately signed up with TCN also. The book didn't do much of anything for me. I used Lisa Arends cd's and the syllabus for excelsior a/p. They post an exam of test questions in the catalog just google anatomy and physiology. Also I bought the practice exams which really helped with how the questions are worded. Good luck
