How does someone get into case management and what exactly do they do? I know a little bit about what they do. Can you get into this with an ADN or do you need a BSN? Do you need a lot of clinical experience after graduation? Thanks.

Honestly you should have at least 2-5 yrs of experience piror to going into case management. Many facilities would like you to have your BSN but may accept you if you have more years of experience and are in school for your bachelors. If you are just out of school or just getting out of school, prior to donig case mangement you should get your feet wet in some type of bedside nursing. Nursing school does not prepare you for the real world and if you dont have enough real life experience you may find yourself in a position you can't handle. Tis is just my opinion. Good luck whatever u decide to do.
