caring for a post op heart pt

I take care of post op heart pts and I recently had a pt with a left radial artery graft site and that arm was ace wraped and i was trying to find out the policy on doing blood sugar pricks on left finger tips? i know we don't put BP cuff on that arm and no IVs but is it ok to use the graft site arm for blood sugar pricks? Pls any thoughts/suggestions r greatly appreciated!
