Career Day?! YIKES!

Hello fellow nurses!

I am in search of guidance:wink2: I am going to be talking to my 4th grade sons class for career day.....Have any of you participated, and if so, what did you say? I work Open Heart Step Down. Any ideas on "props" or what would be appropriate to talk/teach the kids about? I am so excited to actually have a career to talk about! LOL. Would love input! Thanks in advance!

see if you can get anything from your education department at work, like a heart that they can pass around the class...Kids that age just love things they can touch...

I was asked to speak at my sons middle school class on career day, until my son said "my mom puts hoses up peoples butts!!!!!" (needless to say, the offer was quickly recinded) :> I was on med/surg at the time.
