Can you be RN with arrest record?

My friend's girlfriend has been arrested for shoplifting ( i know...) and she was going to become a RN. Anyway, her case was dismissed and charges were dropped, no conviction whatsoever.

But arrest record still remains.

Will she be able to apply for RN board and become RN eventually?

Any outcome is appreciated, poor thing is feeling down these days.

thanks

No one can answer that except the state board of nursing. I would suggest that she contact them.

i told her, she contacted and they told her it is not a problem as long as she puts that in applications.
